New Year, New Me

I just have a feeling that this is going to be my year. When I think back to 2017, it was a pretty dull year for me. I have done some reflecting and now realize that I wasted the year doing very little. I don’t want to regret wasting another year and feel motivated to make some changes in my life.

I am going to eat healthier. I am not going to become vegetarian or vegan, but I am going to eat less processed foods. I find that when I want a snack I grab goldfish or something else similar to that and I want to stop this habit.

I am going to work out on the weekends. I dance everyday at school but want to be someone who exercises daily. I am not working out to loose weight; I am working out to live a healthy lifestyle and strengthen my body.

I am going to blog more. I want to post at least twice a week during the school year. I love being able to share my thoughts online and I feel inspired to post even more with the start of the new year.

I am going to work harder in school. I will be applying for college this year and I want to set myself up best for when that comes. I feel better when I know I have tried my hardest no matter what the outcome is and I feel that at the end of 2017 I began to slack off a little bit.

I wanted to post this so that in a year I can come back and see if I kept up with my resolutions. I hope that maybe this will motivate you to make some goals for the new year but if not oh well.
